The King's Speech |
I love it and one of the best fims I've recently seen is "The King's Speech". Actually, I'd recommend you to go and see it if you haven't so far, of course in original version since it's a fine example of British English and you'll surprise yourselves by discovering you can understand more than you expected.
If you've already seen it, I'd like to know you personal opinion about it. Write your comments below.

ResponderEliminarHi!
ResponderEliminarLast month I saw the King's speech, of course in original version and I liked so much, particulary the setting of the film and the actor who plays the teacher's role. I like British actors and I follow Colin Firth since Briged Jonhn's diary, A single man, etc. He's a great actor.
My score 58%
It's a pity I can't understand him!!
Hi everybody! I have just done this new listening and my score is 85%, I only have three mistake, I have been capable of guessing two of them but there is one that I can´t hear and then, I have to listen three times.
ResponderEliminarI think it is a good listening since it allow you to hear a typical American English although you aren´t able to traslate all the vocabulary that he uses.
It´s really great to practise listening in this way.
Finally after listen to it again and again I got to find out all the missing words ¡uf!. It was a hard work to me but a fantastic exercise for my hearing.
ResponderEliminarHi everybody! I did the listening yesterday in the afternoon and my score was 85%, i believe it is a good mark.

hello,I am Jesus. my score is only a 36% but I'll try in future listenings
ResponderEliminarI already saw it and I agree with you, it's one of the best films I have seen. Colin Firth is a great actor. Unfortunately, I saw it in Spanish version. I love cinema, I go to the cinema every week. In my opinion, there are too many American films. Europe's countries should promote a bit more their films, because there are some good films from Spain, France, UK, etc. such as The King's speech.
ResponderEliminarHi everybody! I`m sorry, I have surrendered. After listening again and again, I can`t understand 3 words. My score is 54%. This listening is a bit difficult, but it`s a good way to practice. I hope I will do better the next one.

Hi! I'm Cristina from That's English program. I've found this video quite funny and, surprisingly I've understood the most of it. Some months ago, I saw this film at the cinema and I liked it, because it's a story of overcoming and I found it very interesting because this is I'm going to do....I'm going to improve my English and I'm going to forget the fear. Thanks to Natalia I'll get it.
